Hide and Seek by Xan Fielding 1st / 1st 1954

First UK edition published by Secker & Warburg in 1954. This is a very good copy. The notoriously fragile wrapper is better than is usually found. There are small amounts of loss to the corners and some wear to the spine ends. The panels of the jacket are clean and it isn't price clipped. The book has a couple of faint marks to the front boards. Otherwise the book is in excellent condition. Overall a very good copy. 
 
The highly illustrative jacket design is by Anthony Baynes. Fielding's account of his activities as a wartime agent in crete during WW2. A rare book to find in this condition.
