First UK edition published by Faber & Faber in 1969. This is a very near fine copy. The jacket had very mild rubbing to the spine ends otherwise it is in excellent shape and not price clipped. The book has tiny rubbing to a corner otherwise likewise excellent. This copy is particularly rare as Brian Aldiss has signed the front free end paper and in addition has written out a Percy Shelly poem and renamed it "Ode to SF". A highly collectible copy with these attributes.
