The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter 1st / 1st 1979

FIRST UK EDITION published by Gollancz in 1979. The jacket is excellent with only a light mark on the front panel. It is a crisp example and is not price clipped. The book is in similar condition with little to no wear at all. A very near fine copy. 
 
The author's collection of short stories loosely based on folk tales. The short story 'werewolf' was used as the basis of the 1984 film 'Company of Wolves'. A sought after title and amongst Angela Carter's best.
